CPAS is currently preparing the working drawings for Quesna New Prison at Al Monofia Governorate with estimated cost L.E 300 Million on 30 Feddans. The prison includes men and women wards and their services, troops barracks, offices and stores.

CPAS has signed in 31/10/2007 a contract for consultancy services for Egyptian Arab Land Bank renovation and construction works for Mohammed Farid branch and Mohandeseen branch.
The preparations are in progress for the renovation of other branches such as Tanta, Monofia, and Dakahlia Governorate.

CPAS has signed its second contract with the Industrial Development Authority (IDA) to study, plan and develop industrial areas in Ismailiya, Al-Areesh and North Sainai Governorates.

CPAS was awarded the re-design and development contract of Al-Obour hospital, which was recently merged to Ain Shams Hospitals. The project's total cost is estimated to be EGP 15 million.

CPAS was awarded the new project of a residential tower owned by the Ministry of Interior (SAD) in Nasr City. The tower consists of 11 floors with 6 residential units per floor, commercial units at the ground floor, and a parking at the basement level. The project cost estimates to EGP 12 million.

CPAS was awarded the preliminary urban planning for the new Science Park and University in Kuwait. The project is owned by a group of Kuwaiti investors and is expected to be built on an area of 1 square kilometer north of Kuwait City.

CPAS was awarded the renovation, remodeling and construction works for ESCO factory which was recently bought by Crystal Asfour. The factory was built on a 150,000m2 area and is being redesigned for future expansion .CPAS was also awarded to develop 15 feddans as an extension for existing factory to build a steel structure factory with total floor area 36000 m2and another RC structure factory with total floor area 280,000 m2.

A Joint venture has been signed between CPAS and the Integrated Development Group (IDG) – Dr. Mohammed Abdel Kareem Salheen for cooperation in architectural and urban studies projects that aim to fulfill knowledge and experience needs.

CPAS is collecting, documenting and classifying works of Prof. Abdel Baki Ibrahim – may god have merci on his soul – including articles and research in order to display them on the CPAS website, making it easier for researchers, architects and planners to view and make use of them, as they are of high technical and scientific value.

The Kuwaiti Institute of National Education has signed a contract with CPAS for the preparation of special studies concerning the asset valuation of one of Cairo's schools in order to conduct a feasibility study for investment in the school. This study includes the evaluation of land, property, structures, tools and equipment owned by the school. The study will also convey the asset's legal and financial status as well as the evaluation of the educational standard and the school name.

The project of The African Bank for Export and Import located in Heliopolis has been successfully completed. CPAS was the in-house consultant, SIAC was the contractor and ECG was the general consultant for the project. Project cost was over 10 million American dollars

Commissioning stage has started on Wednesday 9/5/2007 for the Central Jailhouse of Asyout city. The committee on behalf of the Ministry of Interior responsible for commissioning has praised the high technical standards of project execution.

The commissioning stage for the "Akkad towers" Project located in Nasr City district has started. The owner of this project is the Ministry of Interior, CPAS carried out the architectural design and construction supervision.

CPAS signed a contract with the General Committee for Industrial Development for the development of industrial areas in Beheira, Alexandria and Matrooh Governorates. CPAS will be responsible for carrying out studies, development policies and plans. CPAS was chosen through a bid between specialized consultant offices.

The work on the project of the development of Al-Hofouf Historical City in Al-Hasa – KSA carried out by the Ministry of Municipality and Village Affairs – Al-Hasa municipality. CPAS will be executing this project in cooperation with the office of Dr. Abdel Rahman Al-Rabeea located in Damam – KSA. A team of highly qualified and experienced Egyptian consultants specialized in several areas of development will participate in the project.

Dr. Mohammed Abdel Baki, CPAS chairman, as the personal consultant of his excellency the general secretary of  the Islamic Cities and Towns Organization Eng. Omar Abdallah Kady, will be participating in the 11th conference for the organization, and the 9th international conference, titled "The effect of communications and information technologies on municipal services development: towards an E-Government" and the exhibition of "Communication and information technologies and the progress of Islamic cities and Capital municipalities". The conference will be held in the Turkish capital Ankara, 18th – 20th of June 2007.

The execution of interior design and development works for the British Ambassador's private residence in Egypt was successfully completed.

CPAS has been chosen to be Zouhour Sports Club (Cairo) General Consultant and is now preparing tender documents for a new gymnastics hall and the renovation of other sport fields. Raising the efficiency of the swimming pool boilers and air cooling the covered sport hall will be also part of the renovations.

The architectural magazine "Ru'ya" (Vision) held a cultural conference in Sakkia Culture Center on Tuesday 9th of January 2007 on "Architectural publications and its effect on the elevation of society's culture". Dr. Mohammed Abdel Baki had moderated the meeting and showcased a research letter about the Egyptian history throughout the past century.

Dr. Mohammed Abdel Baki CPAS chairman was invited by the Aga-Khan trust for Islamic architecture and the Kuwaiti Engineers Society to participate in the Middle Eastern Architecture Conference and the accompanying exhibition held on the 3rd and 4th of December 2006 in the State of Kuwait. Dr. Mohammed Abdel Baki showcased a research letter about the Egyptian history throughout the past century.

Alexandria library is currently electronically scanning all old issues of the "Alam Al Binaa" magazine, totaling 216 issues, indexing and classifying them to display some of the older issues on the CPAS website.

Construction of the Nada project, which consists of six – twelve story apartment buildings, has begun. The project is located in southern maadi with a cost of 70 million pounds. This phase is a part of a larger project consisting of 19 apartment buildings. The owner is the Ministry of Interior.
