Consultative activities in the United Nations
1. During his work as a chief expert in the United Nations, he established an urban strategy for the Saudi Arabian cities. He related the five years plan programs of the social, economic development with the spatial dimension in the regions, cities and villages. He put the bases and rules of the guiding plans, planning, and land sub-division, development of the existing areas, methods of the social and economical surveys, land use, and presentation methods. He supervised the planning of many cities in the Saudi Arabian Kingdom, Kuwait and Yemen… He established a system for the consultative work in the context of the planning operation and its continuation: 1993 – 1979.
2. Evaluating the desertation projects in south Yemen– the environment program – 1986.
3. Regulating the urban planning organization in the ministry of the rural and municipality affairs in Qatar– 1989.
4. Evaluating the upgrading projects in the various regions in Sana – Yemen –1989.
5. He was an urban planning consultant for the municipality of Kuwait in order to put a strategy for construction and development and introduced the structural planning to the ministry of planning and the urban planning in the municipality department 1968 – 1970.
Cultural Visits
He visited all the European countries, the United States of America, Canada, China, Japan, the far east countries, Iran, Kenya, Tanzania, Russia, Uzpakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, South Korea and most of the Arab countries in the East and West.
