CPAS Uses Solar Power for Sustainability

Within the framework of its continuous development and under the flag of sustainability, the Center of Planning and Architectural Studies intends to rely on renewable energy (solar energy), via the installation of a solar energy plant covering the entire surface of the roof of the building. The plant shall consist of 72 solar panels to provide part of the electricity consumed by the center. Going further beyond the dependence on sustainable solar energy, the center aims to rationalize consumption; by replacing most of the lighting units in offices and halls to “LED” units. The center also pursues a policy of preserving the environment by taking part in the recycling initiative. This is done through sorting and recycling paper and separating plastic and metal wastes in order to benefit from their reuse and output.
